1-Day Big 5 Safari in 4×4 and on Horseback

Description

A comfortable journey from Cape Town takes you to the 4-star lodge in the Karoo, which is also malaria-free. It is a fantastic African safari hideaway that is within a two-hour drive from the city. The Big Five—elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros—live in the 10 000-hectare conservancy that serves as the reserve’s home. A pool bar and lounge are open for refreshments and light fare. With day outings, overnight safaris, horseback or quad safaris, a spa, and a kids’ play area, Aquila has plenty to offer everyone.

The safari includes a 1.5-hour horseback or quad bike safari in addition to a 2- to 3-hour game drive in an open-air 4×4 safari vehicle. Alongside equestrian safari specialists, there are horseback safaris. The quad bike safari day tour includes roughing it in the 10,000-acre conservancy. The quad bike excursion is a perennial favorite. Visitors must be at least 16 years old and not weigh more than 95 kg. Breakfast is offered from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a 2- to 3-hour game drive. A lunch buffet will start at 1:00. A 1.5-hour horseback or quad bike safari follows at 2:00 pm. Shared transportation from Cape Town to the resort and back is not included, but if necessary, please let us know and we will be happy to provide a quote at an additional expense.
