1 Day Desert Safari to Wadi El Rayan and Wadi Hitan

Description

Reserve one of our trips from Cairo, especially this Desert Safari Trip to Wadi El Rayan and Wadi Hitan, for an exhilarating experience to Egypt Desert Safari tours and adventures. See El-Fayoum, the largest oasis in Egypt with two sizable freshwater lakes. From there, we’ll start an exotic tour to Wadi El Rayan Desert Safari, where the magnificent lake and picturesque waterfalls will enchant you with their beauty. Next, we’ll take the road to Wadi Hitan (Valley of the Whales), which was just recently named a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains a variety of fossils from very old times. Egypt is one of those nations that are always brimming with interesting things and kind people, which make anybody who visits fall in love with the place.

We will transport you to Wadi Rayan via the Cairo-El Fayoum desert road in an air-conditioned 4 Wheel Safari vehicle. Wadi El Rayan, which has two lakes connected by waterfalls and is located in Egypt’s Western Desert 42 meters below sea level, is a stunning sight. It was created in 1970 as a result of an excess of drainage water from farmlands in Fayoum, creating a unique view (waterfalls in the middle of the desert!). Drive all the way to Wadi Hitan to continue your desert safari trip to Wadi El Rayan and Wadi Hitan, where you may see and photograph whale skeletons all over the place. The Wadi El Rayan Natural Reserve, popularly known as Valley of the Whales, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains a 40 kilometer road. Stop along the road at Mudawara Mountain, which offers a stunning vantage point of the surrounding environment and is located to the west of El Fayoum Lake.

We will take you to tour the Wadi Hitan national park, which is one of the most ancient locations in the world describing the evolution of whales. It is regarded as an open museum well-known in Egyptian history and dates back 40 million years. Here, over 400 different kinds of fossilized whale and sea cow skeletons as well as other bones, shells, and plant remains have been found, some of which are still preserved in soft rocks. After the 4WD excursion, we pause for lunch and afternoon Bedouin tea before continuing on to your Cairo hotel.
