Etosha is Namibia’s flagship park, home to 114 large and small wildlife species, over 400 known bird species, scores of reptiles, and even a fish species. Although the park’s size has decreased significantly since it was first declared as Game Reserve in 1907, it is still larger than several European nations.
Swakopmund, often known as Swakop in Namibia, is the country’s largest seaside town and a popular tourist destination for Namibians. The town’s German heritage is fairly evident throughout the city in lovely old German Colonial buildings, creating an even starker contrast for this town lying at the border of the Namib Desert.
