Itinary in details

Upon landing in Antananarivo, Madagascar’s capital you will be welcomed by one of our friendly staff before transferring to your hotel in the city. The remainder of the day is yours to do as you like while thinking about the fascinating tour that is waiting for you. You will spend the night at the hotel.

After breakfast, we’ll begin our excursion by driving to Andasibe via eastern Madagascar’s lush, green flora. After arriving in the afternoon, we will check into the hotel in Andasibe. We will go on a night stroll at around 7:00 pm to see nocturnal species like lemurs that are active at night.

After breakfast, we will begin our morning with a trip to the Andasibe special reserve to witness the Indri, the island’s largest lemurs. We shall go to the village of Andasibe in the afternoon. This brief tour allows us to learn more about the locals and see how they live and eat.

After breakfast, we’ll travel through the highland scenery with its stunning rice fields to Antsirabe before returning to Tana. Ambatolampy, a sizable agricultural city also known as a supplier of aluminum, will be our next stop. You will get to Antsirabe at 5:00.

As soon as breakfast is finished, we will travel to Ambositra, the hub of Madagascar’s wood carving industry. We will cross the “le col de tapia,” a bush fire-resistant tree, as we continue on. Rough mountains, pine forests, eucalyptus trees, and rice fields continue to dominate the terrain. To go to our destination for the day, Ranomafana National Park, we detour from the main road.

Ranomafana National Park is roughly 40,000 acres, and it is home to a rain forest, hills covered in vegetation, and a variety of fauna. It is one of Madagascar’s most popular national parks and has long been regarded as one of the country’s highlights. You will take long strolls around the national park in search of lemurs, chameleons, and other creatures.

As we travel back, we’ll leave Ranomafana and stop at a local winery for a wine tasting in the vicinity of Fianarantsoa, also known as “the city where one learns good things.” After that, we’ll travel south to Ambalavao to see the “Anteimoro Paper Factory.” To get to Isalo, our objective, we’ll continue and pass via Ihosy, the Andringitra mountain range, and the enormous “Plateaux de Horombe.”

Today we will explore and hike in the Isalo National Park. After a 10-minute drive from Ranohira village, we will leave our car and walk for about 112 hours to reach the Natural Swimming Pool. We will pass through areas of Uapaca bojeri, Pachypodium rosulatum, also known as “elephant’s foot,” and Aloe isaloensis, a local type of aloe that is unique to Isalo.

After breakfast, we’ll carry on to Tuléar, the National Road N° 7’s terminus. We will encounter new landscapes throughout this leg of our tour as we go through the arid woodlands of the west and the spiky desert of the south. We will stop along the trip to examine the many “Mahafaly tombs” and “Antandroy tombs.” We’ll drive to Ifaty after a brief stop to Tuléar.

Ifaty is lying on the sand. As a result, it is the perfect location for diving and snorkeling. It’s also a popular destination for birdwatchers. You can also get a taste of life as a Vezo fisherman here. This day of leisure lends itself to numerous trips. Kite surfing, wind surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, bird viewing, hiking, quad biking, swimming, and sunbathing are a few of these.

We’ll take a shuttle to the airport at roughly 6:00 am to catch our aircraft back to Tana, which is another name for Antananarivo. After checking in at the hotel, you have the afternoon free to explore and do some sightseeing. Tana offers a variety of sightseeing opportunities.

Today is the last day of our tour, and you will be transferred to the airport for your onward travel according to your flight information. You will bring home wonderful memories together with related materials, images, and artifacts. Naturally, we hope you’ll come back soon for another thrilling trip to Madagascar.
