Join us for a fantastic 2-day safari tour to Bahariya & White Desert from Cairo to experience a memorable journey. Bahariya is referred to as the Northern Oasis. It occupies a valley that covers an area of 4,000 km2. Palm groves and orchards line the bottom of the valley. The people who dwell in the Bahariya oasis are a mixture of ethnic groups, including both the original settlers and Bedouin tribes that chose to establish themselves in one location. Middle Egyptian families also migrated here in pursuit of a better life.
Nearly 6,000 people lived in the oasis by the end of the 1950s. The majority of the youths later immigrated to the nation’s capital. The revival of the oasis, the building of highways connecting it to Cairo, other oases, and the Nile Valley, the establishment of a mineral mine, as well as amazing ancient finds, led to the growth of tourism and the creation of new jobs. Due to increased interest in living there as a result, the oasis is now home to more than 30,000 people.
