2 Days Masai Mara Tour

Description

2 Days Masai Mara Tour is intended for people who don’t have time for a more in-depth tour of the reserve. It is also great for visitors from abroad attending a workshop in Nairobi or for expats who have the weekend off from work. If you happen to visit during the great migration, this 2-day Masai Mara wildlife tour may end up being one of your most memorable wildlife encounters ever. There is an incredible variety of wildlife in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Wildlife includes all five of the Big Five, birds, and much more in addition to herbivorous animals. The vast Rift Valley’s Esoit Olooloo Escarpment is where most of the wildlife is found. Due to its isolation and extensive swamps that provide water for the animals all year long, animals adore this area of the reserve.

2 Days Masai Mara Tour, Even though this tour will only last two days, you will have the opportunity to see the reserve’s best features. The pick-up location and drop-off location for this 2-day Masai Mara Wildlife Tour are both Nairobi. We advise the 3 Days Masai Mara tour package for a more thorough tour of the Mara that also includes a trip to the Masai village. Between July and October, the wildebeest migration brings over 1.5 million wildebeest and zebra to the plains, creating an amazing spectacle. Any safari in this area is made memorable by seeing the wildebeest cross the Mara River, new babies, and the never-ending struggle between predator and prey.

Itinary in details

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi at 6:00 am to start the trip to the Mara. The tour’s details will be explained to you by the driver. Using the Nakuru highway, the journey passes through Narok town and the vast East African Rift Valley. There will be brief rest stops where you can get some refreshments and enjoy one of the best views of the vast Rift Valley. A natural wonder, the Great Rift Valley stretches from Mozambique in Southern Africa to the Middle East. While traveling through Narok country, the Masai people are a common sight. You can watch them take care of their daily tasks and let their animals graze. When you get there at around noon, you’ll check in to lodge, get some rest, and eat lunch.

Following some downtime, the driver/guide will leave for a game drive around 2:30 pm. As you travel through the reserve on this game drive, you’ll be on the lookout for cheetahs, lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, warthogs, water bucks, reed-bucks, and a whole host of other animals. From July to October, you can observe the great wildebeest migration, as well as zebras, Thompson’s gazelles, impalas, baboons, hyenas, jackals, bat-eared foxes, warthogs, Grant’s gazelles, crocodiles.

Get up early, eat breakfast, and then go on a morning game drive. During this game drive, you will be able to see the early birds and the stunning African sunrise. Lions love to move along the car tracks in the morning to avoid the wet grass, so it’s a great time to get up close and personal with them. The game drive will be set up in a different area of the Mara so that you can see a different type of scenery, landscape, and concentration of wildlife. Immediately following the game drive, the driver will begin the trip back to Nairobi. You will stop for lunch en route, and you can anticipate arriving in Nairobi between 4 and 6 p.m. You will be dropped off at your home, hotel, or airport by the driver.
