2 Days White Desert Safari

On this particular day, quite early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from your Cairo hotel and drive you to the White Desert in the oasis of Bahariya, around 360 kilometers east of Cairo. This journey takes roughly 4 hours. You will have lunch when you arrive. Then we’ll drive to see the quartz crystal at Crystal Mountain and the rock formations in the Agabat Valley, after which we’ll visit the Black Desert and the El Haize (St. George Oasis) natural hot springs. We’ll keep driving to the White Desert National Park, Egypt’s most well-known desert destination for good reason. No other desert in the world can compare to the quantity of exquisite and spectacular rock formations shaped by the wind into the shapes of enormous mushrooms or pebbles. Depending on the likelihood, we will either stay the night in the Farafra oasis hotel after the visit or travel to your tent in Egypt’s pristine desert.

Today you will begin your day with breakfast in the camp before traveling to the Bahariya Oasis to see the display hall of the golden mummies and the tombs of the XXVI dynasty’s nobles (2 tombs). This is a significant burial place, as well as Bannantiu’s tomb in the Bahariya Oasis in Egypt’s Western Desert. You will be able to enjoy ascending the black mountain. We’ll meet up for lunch at the Bahariya Oasis before heading back to Cairo.
