3-Day Etosha Camping

After breakfast today, we begin our trip to Etosha. The “Mr. Big Ears,” as they are affectionately referred to by many locals, are the ideal place to begin. Elephants are viewed as a representation of power, luck, loyalty, and wisdom. When it comes to behavioral patterns, they are seen to be the most similar to those of humans. Today, our primary goal is to capture these gentle giants in the best possible light while also taking in all that Etosha has to offer. What they don’t tell you is that an elephant is never forgotten.” We also appreciate the tens of thousands of birds. Etosha is a bird sanctuary that bird enthusiasts will appreciate.

Today, we shift our attention to “The King” of all animal life, the majestic lion, who is unquestionably the most feared of all creatures. All creatures take a step back when this cat approaches the waterhole because there is something inherently courageous about him. We as humans can only dream we could move with the grace and assurance they do. We will set out today to locate them so we can see this amazing animal. Naturally, keep an eye out for the rest of the species, such as the black rhino, brown and spotted hyena, giraffe, zebra, etc. At the waterhole in the evening, we sip a fine wine while watching the animals approach the water to drink.

Today, after breakfast, we take one last game drive (2 hours). We then make our way back to Windhoek where you will spend one night before you leave Namibia the next day. On the way back, we stop at a local craft market in Okahandja for last-minute gift shopping. We drop you off at your hotel/lodge/guesthouse. We pick you up the next morning to take you to the airport, because we like to make sure all our clients are looked after right up to the end.
