3-Day Gondwana Game Reserve Safari

You will be picked up at 7:30 a.m. from your Cape Town hotel or the Cape Town International Airport. You will then be transported privately to the Gondwana Private Game Reserve on South Africa’s Garden Route, which is near to Mossel Bay. It takes roughly four hours to get there from Cape Town. When you arrive at the Gondwana Private Game Reserve, You will be introduced to your game ranger, who will accompany you on your first late afternoon safari game drive following check-in. Join one of the best Big Five safari game drives to see lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, hippos, and other animals. Enjoy a bush stop around sunset. You are welcome to come back to the lodge after your game drive to relax and clean up before dinner. After dinner, retire to your opulent lodging for a restful night’s sleep.

Prepare yourself for an early start as you meet your game ranger inside the boma, grab a coffee, and then head out on your early safari game drive. The early air can get quite cool, so be sure to bring a heavy jacket—ponchos will be provided. A hearty breakfast will be given on the deck, which has sweeping views of the landscape and game, following your early-morning game drive. The rest of the day can then be spent relaxing, booking a spa appointment, going for a bush walk, or taking part in any other available safari activities. You have access to a nice pool where you may swim or unwind by the poolside while sipping on a cocktail. Lunch will be provided either inside or on the terrace. To see more wildlife, join us for a late-afternoon Big Five safari game drive. We’ll serve dinner at the restaurant after the latter afternoon game drive.

Take advantage of your final, optional early-morning game drive safari to see the animals one last time before you depart, or enjoy the morning alone as you relax after this amazing two-night safari in the Gondwana Game Reserve. On the terrace, we’ll offer breakfast. We will check out of the hotel after breakfast and meet our tour guide in the lobby. After that, we’ll board a private vehicle and spend the next four hours traveling into Cape Town via beautiful scenery. Finally, we will drop you off at your Cape Town lodging or the Cape Town International Airport at 5:00 pm.
