3 Day Rwanda gorilla trekking and cultural Safari

You will be met at the airport, driven to your hotel in Kigali, where you will have dinner and then go for a tour of the memorials to the Rwandese Genocide. You will be brought to the precise location of the cold-blooded killing and interment of Rwandese. Later, continue on the Journey to Volcanoes National Park, stopping at the park headquarters before continuing to the lodge for dinner and lodging.

After breakfast on the second day of the three-day Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Trekking Safari & Cultural Tours, prepare your backpack with enough water and snacks before being driven to the park headquarters for a briefing. There, you will be assigned the mountain gorilla family to trek with the other seven trekkers. Following the briefing, you will go on an adventure into the wildness of Volcanoes National Park in search of habituated mountain gorillas via dense vegetation and muddy trails. You will be permitted to spend an hour with the gorillas before returning to the resort for lunch. After lunch, you will be driven to the Iby’Iwacu cultural village, where you will spend a fun-filled evening taking in the local dance and theatrical performances before returning for supper and spending the night at your lodge.

Enjoy your breakfast at your leisure today before checking out and traveling back to Kigali to visit the remaining genocide memorial sites that you missed on day one. You will also visit other attractions in Kigali city, including as markets, centers, and craft shops. Enjoy your lunch before being transferred to the airport to catch your flight.
