3-Day Victoria Falls and Chobe

Description

This safari tour begins in Victoria Falls, one of the World’s Seven Wonders. The Falls’ sheer volume as they crash over the cliff and into the narrow gorge is thunderous, and the misty clouds of spray, occasionally punctuated by rainbows, are visible from more than 30 kilometers away, earning the name Mosi-Oa-Tunya, which means “the smoke that thunders” in the native tongue. Then, on a fantastic safari that allows you to see a variety of game, including some of the Big Five creatures, we’ll travel to Chobe National Park.

The Mosi-oa-Tunya/Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River is the biggest waterfall in the world. The world’s largest sheet of water falling stems from its breadth (1,708 m) and height (108 m). The Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park (Zambia), the Victoria Falls National Park (Zimbabwe), and the Zambezi National Park (Zimbabwe) all contain this trans boundary site. There are eight gorges in the Zambezi River system. It is an Important Bird Area because it contains multiple islands that draw migrating bird species. Elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and hippopotamuses are just a few of the mammals that can be viewed.

Itinary in details

Immediately following breakfast at 7:00 am, you will be driven to Victoria Falls to take part in a two-hour trip through the rain forest. It takes roughly two hours to walk the entire 2 mile distance. In the Victoria Falls National Park, the large baobab trees will also be displayed to you. You’ll get to pick from a variety of thrilling extracurricular activities around 9:30 am. An unforgettable aerial view of the Falls is possible with a beautiful helicopter flight. We’ll leave for the Botswana’s Chobe National Park at 11:00 a.m. We will travel to your lodge for lunch and check-in after completing the border procedures. The border of Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, and Zimbabwe with the Chobe River lies just a few meters away.

We will start the day extremely early to take advantage of the unique opportunity to see the stunning Chobe National Park sunrise. After a quick breakfast, you’ll head to the park to watch the big cats and the sun rising over the savannah. Despite how early it may seem, this is one of the finest times to see a predator in the act of searching for food.

This will be our last day at Chobe National Park. We will travel through potentially uneven or bumpy roads to witness wildlife in Chobe National Park in the early morning. You will be guided through previously unexplored places while watching the game.
