It is built on a 13,600 square meter site and has more than 100 display galleries.

The Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, is a mosque in Cairo, Egypt, that was commissioned by Muhammad Ali Pasha between 1830 and 1848. This Ottoman mosque, the largest built in the first part of the nineteenth century, is the most conspicuous mosque in Cairo, with its dynamic silhouette and twin minarets.

Itinary in details

Greetings from Egypt. You will be welcomed by one of our representatives when you arrive at Cairo International Airport and driven in a private A/C vehicle to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Your full-day excursion will begin with a visit to the Egyptian Museum. The world’s most significant repository for Egyptian antiquities. It has the largest collection of Pharaonic artifacts where you may experience the mystique of ancient Egypt. You will eat lunch at a reputable neighborhood restaurant. Visit the Salah El-Din Citadel to see the Yousif Boushnaq-designed Alabaster Mohammed Ali Mosque, which was the focal point of Egypt for about 700 years. Visit the Hanging Church, the Church of Abu Serga, where Jesus is reputed to have sought refuge, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue in Old Cairo. After visiting all of the main sites, you will be taken back to your accommodation.

After enjoying your excellent breakfast, you will depart with our expert guide in a private A/C car. The first stop on your full-day journey will be the Great Sphinx of Giza, which was built during the reign of Chephren (2620 BC), as well as the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, three of the former Seven Wonders of the World.
