Itinary in details

After a quick introduction to the safari and a hearty greeting from your guide, you depart Windhoek and travel north. The expansive landscapes that Namibia has to offer will astound you. Otjiwarongo and Outjo are two small settlements you pass will through en route. Should you be in the mood, both towns offer a delectable lunch option. The Etosha Safari Camp is just a short distance from Outjo, where you will be staying. You check in briefly before heading to the Etosha National Park entrance gate, where your first game drive can start. One of the most recognizable parks in Africa, Etosha National Park offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Namibia. You will be able to see animals that you may not have even realized.

Since today is all about the safari, you should rise early and utilize your entire day. The watering holes are the places to be because the Etosha terrain is frequently exceedingly dry. This is where a diverse range of animals gather, and it can result in amazing safari experiences. Enjoy the animal show in front of you for a while, and don’t forget to take some stunning pictures. Elephants, lions, wildebeest, hyena, and herds of kudu, springbok, and impala, to name a few, can be seen in Etosha. Since the Etosha National Park is one of the few locations where these majestic animals may be viewed in the wild, if you’re extremely lucky, you might even encounter a rhinoceros. The Etosha National Park is also known as the “Great White Place” and gets its name from the Etosha Pan. The Etosha Pan typically lives up to its name. The pan can occasionally flood during the rainy season, producing a thin coating of water and a very unique experience. You return to the Etosha Safari Camp where you spend another night after a wonderful day of game viewing, exploring, and hopefully numerous sightings.

Before beginning your journey back to Windhoek in the morning, you can savor a leisurely breakfast. Your guide will be able to fill you in on more information about Namibian culture, people, and some of their stories as you travel. Okahandja is a well-liked stopping point where you can get a cup of coffee or a little meal (both optional). Additionally, there is a market for woodworkers in Okahandja where you can buy some unique trinkets. You will arrive in Windhoek in the early afternoon. Your guide will then drop you off at either your next hotel or the airport. In either case, we wish you safe travels.
