Itinary in details

Depending on where you are in Nairobi, a representative of our company will meet you and take you for 45 minutes’ drive south to Wilson Airport through Langata Road, which connects to Mombasa Road. You should check in for your flight one hour before to takeoff. It is an hour’s flight from Nairobi to the Olkiombo airfield, which is closer to your booked accommodation. When you arrive at the airport, your safari guide will be there to receive you and take you to your lodge so you can check in and have lunch. Drive to the Masai plains for a game drive later in the day. The Masai Mara is famed for its short-grass savannah plains and has good year-round animal concentration, which makes seeing wildlife even easier. Your game drive’s duration will be determined by the animals that are present. Later on, return to your lodge for supper and overnight stay.

You’ll get up this morning, eat breakfast, and then head out to see the wildlife at sunrise. This is the most active time to see wildlife because it coincides with the moment the first sunbeams rest on the savannah. Since few predators hunt during the hottest part of the day, the greatest time to witness the excitement of a pursuit, or at the very least the results of one, is in the morning. The majority of these two days will be spent on game drives as you thoroughly explore the park. If you a lucky enough visiting the park during the months of July to September you will have a chance to experience the wildebeest migration.

Optional activity: You will experience a hot air balloon tour in the early morning; you’ll be floating quietly above the ground for nearly an hour, with a bird’s eye view of the African wilderness below. This activity has a limited capacity, making it a highly distinctive and exclusive experience. Please keep in mind that this activity is weather dependent and may need to be rescheduled if the weather is bad.

After breakfast, your safari tour guide will take you back to Olkiombo Airstrip so you can catch your flight back to Nairobi. You’ll have one hour to check in before the time of your flight. You will reach Nairobi in the late afternoon and immediately upon your arrival you will connect to your international flight back home.
