4 Days Gorilla Tour Double Visit

Description

This 4 Days Gorilla Tour Double Visit safari in Uganda includes an additional gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is situated on the edge of the Rift Valley in southwest Uganda. One of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, dating back more than 25,000 years, and home to around 400 different plant species protects the mist-covered mountains. More significantly, this “impenetrable forest” also safeguards 480 mountain gorillas, or roughly half of the world’s population, including several habituated groups that can be observed by tourists. More than half of the mountain gorillas in the world live in Bwindi. Mountain Gorilla excursions and tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is the Ultimate Safari in Uganda, attracting tourists from all over the world. Bwindi is a term for a forest that meaning “darkness,” and exploring this wonderful woodland on foot will show you why. Also, you’ll be able to quickly determine why the forest is genuinely regarded as impenetrable. To take part in this mountain gorilla tracking and trekking trip, one needs to be in reasonable physical condition because it may involve traversing the difficult terrain.

4 Days Gorilla Tour Double Visit, Aside from the critically endangered and spectacular mountain gorillas, there are 346 bird species, more than 200 butterfly species, and about 324 tree species, 10 of which are unique to this region in all of Uganda. Indeed, this is a place worth visiting. Due to the small number of habituated gorillas living here—gorillas that have been educated to coexist with humans and are unlikely to attack—both the time allotted for seeing them and the availability of permits, which are now available for $500 per person, are genuinely limited. Nobody ever complains after spending time with these incredibly intriguing mountain gorillas in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, one of the most breathtaking rainforests they’ve ever seen.

Bwindi Forest National Park is approximately an 8 hour or 9 hour drive from Entebbe by road and just 1 hour away by chartered flights. Usually the first and last days of Uganda gorilla tours are reserved solely for traveling and a few other minor activities along the way. The journey is quite long especially when you are traveling by road but definitely worth it after when you experience a close encounter with the mountain gorillas in its forests. There is really a lot to the place being one of the most popular safari parks in Uganda, and I’m sure you’ll see it when you travel. Enjoy your breakfast before departing from your accommodation at 7 am to travel to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla tracking expedition in the dense Bwindi forest mist. Pack a lunch as you go. Following that, continue with the trekking process, which can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, largely depending on how far the gorillas travel. One hour is allotted for trekkers to spend with the gentle giants, which is plenty of time to observe them at play, feed them, and snap pictures. Later, return to the lodge, unwind for a while, and then go for an evening communal walk in the Batwa community. Enjoy your meal and sleep well.

Accommodation options include the Silverback Lodge (moderate), Gorilla Forest Camp (luxury), or Buhoma Community Camp (budget). Meal plans include full board. Note: Try to bring enough water, a water-resistant camera, raincoats, hats, sunglasses, walking or hiking shoes, and insect repellent, among other things.

Get up early enough to eat breakfast, bring a packed lunch from the resort, and then prepare for your gorilla trekking adventure. The process is the same as the first day, except that you will be trekking a different gorilla group. Following your trekking, you’ll drive to Lake Bunyonyi, which has 29 islands and is a haven for birds. Its waters are also free of bilharzia and safe for swimming. You will eat dinner here and spend the night.

Broadbill Forest Camp, Acadia Cottages, or Bunyonyi Bird Nest Lodge are available as lodging options. A full-board meal plan is available.

After a satisfying breakfast, go off on a boat excursion on Lake Bunyonyi, where you’ll pass by a number of islands and see terraced hills, birds, and other attractions.
