Itinary in details

You will be picked up at Maun Airport and taken to your ranger and guide. Before departing for an unforgettable 2-hour sunset mokoro safari on the Boteti River, you will have some time for a quick lunch or dip in the pool while enjoying the lodge’s natural surroundings, depending on your time of arrival. Hippos and crocodiles can be seen close at the side of the river, and you can also see some of the most incredible birdlife. Throughout your mokoro trip, your knowledgeable mokoro guide will point out various fascinating features of the river and its animals. After that, you’ll make a little pit break at a bank to grab a quick snack while watching the stunning sunset. You will have some time to clean up before joining us around the fire after your mokoro experience. You can savor a mouthwatering, traditionally made meal and a bottle of wine while taking in the breathtaking nature all around you and listening to the nighttime owls.

Following a sumptuous cooked breakfast, your guide will prepare the car and gather your bags. After receiving a briefing from your guide, travel for around 3 to 4 hours to the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, popularly known as the throbbing heart of the Okavango. Your safari will start here. Soon after entering Moremi, some light foods will be provided while your game ranger employs his outstanding abilities to translate animals to you in a special way. Moremi is a region of contrasts because it combines a mysterious network of twisting streams with a peninsula of dry land known as the “Mopane Tongue.” The mopane trees flourish here, and there are many different kinds of fascinating animals to see, including the always thrilling leopard sightings. The reserve, which makes up over a third of the Okavango Delta’s entire area, is bordered to the north by the Chobe National Park. Enjoy a great lunch while you relax by the fire and listen to the nighttime owls. The night will be spent in Moremi.

You will awaken to the sounds of birds chirping at the crack of dawn. When you emerge from your tent, you will be welcomed by smiling faces and a hot beverage. While your wholesome meal is being prepared, you will have some time to relax. As you continue your safari, you’ll see a number of noteworthy locations inside the reserve, including significant floodplains, watering holes, and regions where enormous animal herds breed. The Moremi Game Reserve is a pristine safari haven that protects the core of Africa’s best wildlife watching region, which is renowned for its richness of fascinating species and an abundance of predators and prey to witness. You will arrive at your lovely, lantern-lit campground late in the afternoon following a long, typically exhausting but always exhilarating day. As you approach, you will frequently smell your typical supper being freshly prepared as you meet the rest of the camping team here.

You’ll hear the serene sounds of an unspoiled African bushveld when you awaken. You will be treated to a delicious breakfast this morning as you take in the endless natural beauty and wildlife sounds of this diversified reserve for the final time. Today, as you go out on your last game drive and travel back to Maun, say goodbye to this “country full of rivers” and its enchanted acacia woods, mopane woodlands, papyrus rivers, floodplains, and lagoons. You might set your eyes on more exciting creatures to cross off your list thanks to the nature’s unrestricted roaming. After lunch, you will gradually return to Maun, where you will be dropped off (including at the airport).
