Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations and regarded as one of the best birding locations in the world. This park is most well-known for its large elephant herds and the mini-wildlife migration, which brings about 250,000 animals into the park during the dry season. Tarangire national park is situated in the Manyara Region, south of Lake Manyara, in Tanzania’s northern region, along the northern safari circuit. The park is situated between the lakes of the Great Rift Valley to the north and west and the meadows of the Masai Steppe to the south and east.

Itinary in details

You will be picked up by our safari driver guide and transported to Tarangire National Park, depending on where you are in Enjoy a game drive later in the afternoon to look for creatures like elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, baboons, and others. Depending on your budget, you can have dinner and spend the night at the lodge of your choice.

Get up very early, eat breakfast, and then drive four hours to Tarangire National Park’s Ngorongoro conservation area. Connect to the Ngorongoro crater to descend more than 600 meters. The largest dormant caldera in the world, Ngorongoro is home to a wide variety of wildlife and birds, including flamingos, which can be spotted while on a safari in the crater near Lake Magadi. Numerous species of animals live in the Ngorongoro Crater, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, and enormous African elephants. The abundance of predators in this picturesque national park, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which can occasionally require a trained eye to spot, is another major draw. Continue your transfer to Serengeti National Park in the evening. Connect to the lodge you reserved for dinner and a night when you arrive.

After a delicious breakfast on this day, meet your driver and take a drive to the Serengeti national park with your hurried lunch. You will see a variety of other animals in the central sector, which is renowned for its strong lions. You’ll travel to Central Serengeti in the late afternoon to go on a game drive. You can see a large pride of lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Hyenas, Giraffes, Elephants, various Antelopes, and other wildlife in this region of the park. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and to spend the night.

Following breakfast, you’ll meet your safari tour guide and travel to Arusha. The trip takes 6-7 hours. You will be dropped off at either a hotel or an airport upon arrival.
