4 days Tanzania wildlife safari

4 days Tanzania wildlife safaris take you to some of the best Tanzania wildlife destinations, including Lake Manyara National Park and the Serengeti National Park. Lake Manyara National Park is a wildlife reserve in the Tanzanian regions of Arusha and Manyara. It was designated a national park in 1960 and an additional 550 hectares were added to the southern end in 1974. The area is located between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. The park now covers a total area of 648.7 km2, of which 386 km2 (240 sq. miles) is land and 262.7 km2 is covered by a lake. It is a portion of the much bigger Lake Manyara Biosphere Reserve, which was created by UNESCO in 1981 as a part of its Man and the Biosphere Program.

Serengeti National Park is a part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem, which spans 12,000 square miles (30,000 square kilometers) and includes a number of other game reserves, and is situated in Tanzania. The actual national park has a 5,700-square-mile area (14,750 sq. km). It shares a border with Kenya’s Masai Mara. A safari in Tanzania is not worthwhile if you don’t see the stunning Serengeti National Park. In Masai, the word Serengeti simply means endless plains. You’ll be compelled to visit the park as soon as you can by its diversity and beauty. The 1.5 hectares of Savannah grassland that make up the park are situated north of Tanzania and extend into southern Kenya.
