Tsavo East National Park is one of Kenya’s largest national parks, with an area of 13,747 square kilometers. Having been established in 1948, it is one of Kenya’s oldest and least-visited national parks. Tsavo East National Park is situated in southern Kenya, close to the country’s coast and bordering Tanzania. Due to the large number of animals, particularly the red-dusty elephants that roll and spray on the termite molds at the park, it is renowned as the “Theater of the Wildlife.”

Tsavo west national park has a land area of 9,065 square kilometers and is one of the most stunning parks in Kenya. It is located in the coastal region of Kenya along the Nairobi Mombasa road and is primarily well-known for the presence of man-eating lions, Mzima springs, the shetani lava, and probably the stunning magical sunset, all of which make it a top place to visit while on a Kenya safari. This four-day Tsavo East and Tsavo West wildlife safari begins in Tsavo East and ends in Tsavo West. There is a wealth of animals and fauna in these two national parks. Red-elephant herds, rhinoceros, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hippos, Nile crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudu, and gerenuk are just a few of the animals you can expect to see.

Itinary in details

On this day, you will be picked up from your accommodation after breakfast and driven to Tsavo West through the Mombasa – Nairobi Highway. Upon arrival, you will go on a game drive before checking in at your lodge and having lunch. After lunch, you will go back to the park for an afternoon game drive. You will be able to take in the beautiful surroundings while on the game drive and see a variety of creatures, including leopards, elephants, lions, warthogs, dik-dik, rhinos, and many bird species. You’ll head back to your lodge for dinner and the night in the evening.

After breakfast, you will travel to the park with a packed lunch to go on a full-day wildlife drive through the Tsavo West National Park’s plains. While on the game drive, you will have the opportunity to explore the park and stop at Mzima Springs, where you may observe hippos and Nile crocodiles in the clean waters. Several animals, such as leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, buffalo, rhinos, giraffes, mongooses, hyrax, dik-dik, and lesser kudu, among others, can also be seen. After finishing the game drive in the evening, you’ll head back to your lodge for dinner and the night.

After breakfast, check out of your lodging and embark on a game drive to Tsavo East National Park, which is situated across a railroad from Tsavo West National Park. After arriving in Tsavo East, you’ll go on a game drive en route to the lodge for lunch. After eating, you’ll head out to the park for an afternoon game drive, during which you can look for animals like red elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, leopards, waterbucks, lesser kudus, gerenuks, and more than 500 different species of birds. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight in the evening.

You will have breakfast this morning, check out of the lodge, and then depart for a wildlife drive in the park on your way back to Mombasa. You will be dropped off at the airport or other selected location in Mombasa.
