5 Days Hwange National Park Zimbabwe

Description

For this safari, a pick-up will take place at Victoria Falls, and you’ll be taken to our bush camp in the middle of Hwange National Park. Once we are settled into our cozy, secluded tent, we can begin exploring the park and going on walks and game drives to look for all the big wildlife. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to unwind while watching the wildlife visit the many waterholes for a drink. Evenings are spent drinking around the campfire and reminiscing the day’s game-viewing activities.

The typical environment of Hwange is desert scrub and grasslands due to the park’s closeness to the Kalahari Desert. Particularly in comparison to other safari locations, the vegetation is not dense, and mopane makes up the majority of the forest. With over 400 different bird species, Hwange is a great place to see wildlife. It also has a big number of large creatures, including one of Africa’s highest concentrations of elephants, with an estimated population of between 30,000 and 40,000 at the moment. The buffalo, elephant, leopard, and lion are believed to be the four ‘big five’ creatures that are most often spotted here. Although a few black rhino may still exist, the rhino population has basically been wiped out.

Itinary in details

You will be picked up from your hotel in Victoria Falls and driven to Hwange National Park. This will require roughly three hours. We’ll take a lunch break after you’ve had a chance to settle in and become acquainted with the cozy bush camp. We may begin our game-viewing activities in the late afternoon and take in all the wonderful sights in the park. When we return to camp at dusk, we’ll take pleasure in recalling everything we observed. A fantastic bush dinner will be served to us under the stars.

We’ll have the entire day to explore this fantastic park. The two primary activities are game drives and walks, where we may cover more land and get closer to the wildlife. Additionally, we’ll patrol waterholes where a lot of animals congregate to relieve their thirst.

Hwange national park is widely known for having sizable herds of buffalo and elephants. The major activities are wildlife drives and hikes, where we may cover more ground and get closer to elusive species like lions. In addition, we’ll stop by the park’s numerous waterholes and broad grassy plains.

Sadly, today is our last day, so after a leisurely breakfast, we must pack everything and return to Victoria Falls. The drive over takes roughly two hours, just before noon, we’ll return to Victoria Falls.
