This morning, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel by your guide, who will guide you through the planning of your safari before embarking on a visit to the Masai Mara national reserve. The Masai Mara national reserve is a well-known wildlife destination in Kenya, home to the big 5 and the annual Great Wildebeest Migration. On the route, you’ll stop in the picturesque Great Rift Valley for a photo opportunity and to see the escarpment. You’ll also stop in Narok Town for lunch and the chance to shop for lovely goods. From the town, you will go to the reserve, where you will go on a night wildlife drive to see predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, among others. In the evening, you will return to your lodge where you will eat dinner and spend the night.

You’ll spend the next two days touring the Masai Mara National Reserve. On these two days, you’ll get up early for breakfast before traveling to the plains of the Masai Mara for a full day of wildlife viewing. You may enjoy seeing a variety of species on the game drives, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeest, elands, gazelles, elephants, cape buffaloes, and Nile crocodiles. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the lovely picnic areas along the banks of the Mara River, and then you will embark on another wildlife drive. On these two days, you can choose to pay extra to go on a hot air balloon safari and cultural tours of a Masai village. You will return to your lodge in the evening, eat dinner, and spend the night there.

After breakfast, you will check out of your lodging and leave the reserve to travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will arrive just in time for lunch. Lake Nakuru National Park is a great place to go on a Kenya birding safari and is also home to the country’s largest population of black and white rhinos. After arriving in the park, you will check into your lodging, eat lunch, and then embark on a game drive in the late afternoon to see a variety of animals, including black and white rhinos, elands, giraffes, zebras, and many others. You will return to your lodge after the game drive, have dinner, and spend the night there.

You will pack your luggage, check out of your resort, and then drive to Lake Nakuru for a morning boat excursion after consuming breakfast there. You will have the chance to take in the cool lake wind and observe a variety of species on the lake’s shoreline, including cormorants, pelicans, and flamingos in their millions. After that, take a drive back to Nairobi, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport in time for your flight home.
