5 Days Serengeti Wildlife Safari

On this day, your guide will pick you up from your Arusha hotel and welcome you to Tanzania for your 5-day wildlife safari. You will continue on to Lake Manyara National Park to start your wildlife viewing adventures. This national park is well-known for its diversified landscape, unusual tree-climbing lions, vast elephant herds, and other wildlife. The national park’s main attraction, Lake Manyara, also covers a sizable portion of the park. On your route to the Lake Manyara national park, where you will check in and have lunch at your lodge, you will stop in Mto wa mbu town where you can get to know the locals and view their arts and crafts. You will go on a game drive after lunch in search of wildlife including antelope, lions, leopards, buffalo, waterbucks, baboons, and monkeys, among other species. You will travel to your lodge for dinner and overnight after your game drive.

On this day, breakfast will be provided at your lodge as you get ready for your transfer to Serengeti National Park. There, you can enjoy additional wildlife viewing opportunities as you explore the Serengeti’s endless savannah plains in search of wildlife species like the big 5, which include elephants, rhinoceroses, lions, leopards, and buffaloes. After settling in at your lodge in the national park, you’ll have lunch and get ready for an afternoon game drive. You will love traveling through the Serengeti National Park in quest of wildlife species such as giraffes, hippos, cheetahs, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, impalas, , hyenas among others. Following the afternoon game drive, you’ll head back to your lodge for dinner and the night.

The day will begin with breakfast at your lodge in the Serengeti National Park as you get ready to go on morning and afternoon game drives. You will roam the savannah plains in search of animals including wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, waterbucks, kudu, dik dik, cheetahs, giraffes, impalas, and hyenas, among others. Following your morning wildlife drive in Serengeti National Park, you will have your lunch. You will take part in another game drive in Tanzania’s oldest national park following lunch in order to look for various animal species. You may take in the stunning scenery of the Serengeti National Park, which is home to over 4000 lions and a variety of other wildlife species, as well as vistas of the scattered countryside. For dinner and to spend the night, you will return to your lodge.

Today you will have breakfast at your Serengeti national park lodge before driving to Ngorongoro conservation area. During your safari, you will explore the world’s biggest dormant caldera in search of animals like as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, and rhinos, which can be observed in the Ngorongoro crater. During your game drive, you will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater and experience the breathtaking vistas. During your wildlife drive through the Ngorongoro crater, you will also spot hippos and flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi. On a safari, you might also see cheetahs, antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, gazelles, hyenas, warthogs, waterbucks, and elands in the crater.

Today, you will have breakfast at your lodge before being taken back to Arusha, where your guide will drop you off at your hotel or the airport, bringing your 5-day Tanzania wildlife safari to an end.
