The day begins with a trip to the well-known Victoria Falls. The magnificent waterfall, a Unesco World Heritage Site, is breathtaking both in full flood (February to May) and in low season (October and November). There are lots of extracurricular options available for the rest of the day after your walking tour. The ultimate playground for adrenaline junkies is Victoria Falls. Prepare yourself with your choice of the optional activities listed below.
This morning’s brisk start includes breakfast before a gorgeous road transfer gets you to Hwange National Park in time for lunch. Once you’ve settled up, take a late-afternoon game drive into the park, stopping at a small waterhole along the way.
Today, after eating breakfast at 8:00 a.m., we spend the majority of our time in the park as we travel to the opposite side and have our packed lunch in the middle of the bush. After lunch, carry on your excursion so that you can reach the hotel just before sundown.
Before a two-hour drive to the Victoria Falls International Airport/Victoria Falls town, we will conclude our five-day safari after an early breakfast and a visit to the Painted Dog Conservation (8.00–9.00 am).
