This safari will begin in Kigali, Rwanda, and will go to the volcanoes national park in Ruhengeri for gorilla trekking before continuing to Gisenyi for a boat cruise on Lake Kivu, visits to genocide memorial sites, marketplaces, and other activities. Volcanoes National Park is situated to the NW of the country’s capital, Kigali. Itinary in details

On this day, you will arrive at Kigali International Airport, where a representative of our company will meet you and drive you to the hotel for a late lunch. Later, you will be taken to Ruhengeri, where the national park for volcanoes is located. As soon as you get at the park, you will check in at your lodge, relax for a little, and have dinner as u prepare for your overnight stay.

On this day, you will eat a substantial breakfast, pack a lunch and a water bottle, and then travel to the park’s administrative center for a briefing before beginning the thrilling adventure of looking for habituated mountain gorillas in the wild. A maximum of one hour can be spent in the gorillas’ presence before returning to the lodge for some downtime, supper, and the night.

On this day, check out of the hotel and meet your driver to take a ride to Gisenyi. . Lunch will be enjoyable for you at the Gisenyi lodge. After that, you can enjoy an afternoon launch trip while admiring the lake’s splendor. After that, you’ll head back to the lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

You will enjoy a leisurely breakfast today in Gisenyi before engaging in a variety of activities there, including seeing the city’s marketplaces and memorial sites for the Holocaust. You’ll head back to your lodge at the end of the day to eat dinner and rest.

This is the final day of your five-day Volcanoes and Lake Kivu safari. You will eat breakfast by Lake Kivu’s shores before leaving the lodge and beginning the trek back to Kigali, stopping at a museum along the way. Lunch will be served en route, and then you’ll be taken to the airport to catch your flight.
