Itinary in details

You will be picked up and transported to St. Lucia from any hotel, airport, or harbor in Durban (Kwazulu Natal). Settle in and have dinner at a neighborhood eatery. Keep an eye out for hippos in the main street. You will be situated fairly close to the beach; if you’re lucky, the sun may be out, allowing you to go swimming and prepare for the Hippo hunt later.

After breakfast today, starting at 10:00, take a boat tour of the St. Lucia estuary with the hippo and the crocodile. After that, you can take a beach stroll, go swimming, or explore Isimangaliso Wetlands Park. The greatest way to experience Swazi culture is to eat food that has been cooked over an open fire. Learn some Siswati and get to know the local inhabitants.

After a walking tour of the village and breakfast, continue on to Mlilwane Nature Reserve. Take an hour-long horseback ride or go on a trek among zebras, blesboks, impalas, and warthogs. Traditional beehive houses are used for lodging (bed and breakfast), and they include modern amenities. Featuring a private bathroom and a shower. The main lodge’s dining room is located next to the Hippo Pool. Enjoy a pleasant trek among predator-free nature. The ideal means of unwinding and taking in nature. If you feel overly ambitious, there are paths that may be hiked for up to five hours.

After breakfast in Mlilwane, go to the capital city of Mbabane to observe how it seems; although being quite little, it has charm. From there, proceed to the well-known glass-blowing Ngwenya Glass Factory. We then proceed to the Malelane Gate of the Kruger National Park in time for an afternoon safari drive in an open safari vehicle. One of the big Kruger camps will serve as our home for the next two nights.

Get up early to go on your second early-morning drive; after a little period of stretching, get into an open safari vehicle for your final game drive. Your tour guide will help you by pointing out African wildlife and educating you on the local trees and geology of this magnificent nation. Before we continue our quest for South Africa’s Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo), have a leisurely breakfast (included) and lunch at one of the camps or picnic areas of the Kruger Park. The drive will last until late in the day and culminate with either a sunset or a night game drive.

You will be taken to see the Blyde River Canyon, the third-deepest canyon in the world, after breakfast. It’s a simple, enjoyable day excursion from the Kruger National Park that is enhanced by our knowledgeable, local guides’ entertaining and educational commentary. Brochures and guidebooks often struggle to find the right words to adequately convey the pristine alpine beauty and breathtaking panoramic vistas at places like this enormous escarpment. Viewpoints have cliffs that are 600–800 meters high.
