Enjoy this more off-the-beaten-path safari with the possibility to see the big five as well as the largest population of white rhinos in the world at Hluhluwe National Park and a unique range of game activities including “frogging,” bird watching, and of course bush walks and safari drives. Additionally, you will lodge in two exquisite, luxurious lodges.
You will be welcomed at Durban airport and driven to Hluhluwe National Park, where you will spend three nights at your safari lodge. You will participate in your first joint game drive in the afternoon. Enjoy the fact that this park is still one of South Africa’s top safari locations, but with significantly fewer visitors than other parks.
The following two days, you will participate in group game drives in this stunning national park with far-reaching undulating hills. In addition to once more being able to see the big 5, this park also boasts the highest population of white rhinos in the world because to conservation initiatives.
After your final morning drive and breakfast in Hluhluwe National Park, you will be taken to Ghost Mountain. Set up camp, relax by the pool, and have a nice dinner.
You’ll take a lake tour today on the Jozini. One of South Africa’s biggest dams, Lake Jozini, is located in a picturesque location at the base of the Lebombo Mountains. There are several beautiful gorges that are home to many different species of birds and cycads. Elephant, rhino, hippo, and crocodile sightings are possible on the dam’s western side. You also receive a ZAR 400 spa ticket included in your stay, so you can indulge in a spa service before or after the boat excursion.
After breakfast, you will be driven back to the airport, where your safari will come to an end.
