Itinary in details

Today, you will be met by your guide, who will welcome you and inform you on your 6-day Tanzania safari. Following your briefing, you’ll head to the Lake Manyara national park, which is famous for its many elephants and its tree-climbing lions. On your journey to the national park, you will stop in Mto wa mbu town where you can browse craft stores and mingle with the people. After lunch, you will check in at your accommodation in the national park.

Following lunch at your lodge in the Lake Manyara National Park, You will enjoy an afternoon game drive while exploring the national park’s varied landscape and keeping an eye out for various wildlife species, including antelopes, gazelles, buffalos, leopards, waterbucks, monkeys, and baboons, among others, as well as various bird species. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight after your wildlife drive.

On this day, you will be served breakfast at your lodge before traveling to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s first national park, where you may enjoy further wildlife viewing opportunities. While on a 6-day Tanzania safari in the Serengeti National Park, you’ll also enjoy keeping an eye out for wildlife species including the “big 5”: elephants, rhinoceroses, lions, leopards, and buffalo. When you get to your lodge, you’ll eat lunch and then go on a game drive in the late afternoon. You will search the endless savannah plains of Serengeti National Park for various wildlife species during your afternoon game drive. You will also enjoy seeing sights like the Seronera Valley in the park’s center and kopjes, or rock outcrops, like the Simba kopjes where you will see lions.

After breakfast at your lodge, you will have a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti national park. You will see a wide variety of wildlife during your morning game drive in the national park, including lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, elands, antelopes, kudu, dik dik, impalas, and cheetahs among others. During an early game drive, wildlife species are more visible and active. Following your morning game drive, you will eat lunch. After lunch, you’ll go on an afternoon game drive to explore more of Serengeti National Park’s wilderness and look for other wildlife species. After your wildlife drive, your guide will take you back to your lodge where you can eat and stay the night.

Your day will begin with breakfast at your lodge in the Serengeti National Park as you get ready to go to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for additional wildlife watching opportunities. As you travel to Ngorongoro, you will stop at the largest active caldera in the world, known as the Ngorongoro crater, which is also home to a variety of wildlife species, including wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, elands, impalas, gazelles, waterbucks, and hartebeests, among others. You will drop 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater, where there are other sights to see, including Lake Magadi, where you may observe flamingos and hippos by the water’s edge.

On this day, breakfast will be provided at your lodge as you get ready to leave for Tarangire National Park, where your safari will let you to see additional herds of elephants and baobab trees. Over 600 different species of birds can be found in this national park. After lunch, you’ll go on a game drive through Tarangire National Park to look for wildlife like lions, leopards, buffalos, waterbucks, antelopes, elands, impalas, and giraffes.

On the final day of your 6-day safari in Tanzania, you’ll eat breakfast at your hotel and get ready to head back to Arusha. You will be driven to Arusha, where your guide will end your safari by dropping you off at the airport or your hotel.
