The park has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in honor of the variety of habitats it contains and the endangered species it protects. One of the most remarkable sites to see a variety of primate species is the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, and the king of them all, mountain gorillas, can all be seen in the park.

6 Days Uganda Safari Gorillas Wildlife and Chimpanzee, Kibale National Park is a beautiful park in western Uganda, just near the equator, with a variety of tropical rain forest tracts and a variety of wildlife. The average annual temperature is cool and ranges from 14 to 27 C. It is the best location in Uganda for chimpanzee trekking. It is referred to as the “primate capital of Africa” and is home to 13 different primate species. More than 1,500 chimpanzees are protected within the 795km2 boundaries of Kibale Forest National Park. It is unquestionably the best location in Africa to watch chimpanzees. Since the chimpanzees have been trained for more than 30 years, you can observe the big apes in their natural habitat. To track the chimpanzees, a person must be at least 15 years old. If they are younger, they can choose to observe chimpanzees at the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which lies near Lake Victoria in Entebbe. There is an elevated platform where tourists can view the chimps as they emerge from the bush for their midday snacks.

The park was established as Kazinga National Park by the British colonial authority in 1952. Of various safari sites in Uganda, Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the most popular. Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of Uganda’s two major national parks and is home to a wide range of amazing environments. Its diverse ecosystems like moist acacia woodlands, tropical rainforests, and rolling grasslands, such as the vast Maramagambo Forest in the southeast is also a unique spectacular attractions. The Kyambura Gorge, which is bordered by the Kyambura Game Reserve and is forested, is also included.

Itinary in details

Have an early breakfast before being welcomed by your guide. He or she will drive you from Kampala to Kibale Forest via Fortportal, which offers beautiful views, and you’ll stop for lunch along the way. You will get the opportunity to explore terraced tea estates if you continue after arriving at the park and reach the lovely crater lakes region. Take in dinner and spend the night.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, head out with the driver guide as he will take you to the park headquarters for a briefing. Following the briefing, you will be led by park rangers as you begin chimpanzee trekking through this rain forest at around 8:00 am.

Seeing chimpanzees in person and observing them go about their everyday activities like playing, jumping for food, and other activities is always an exhilarating and unique experience. In addition, numerous creatures can be seen, including diverse birds, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys.

As you begin your three-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to a variety of species, return to the lodge later, eat lunch, and check out.

Be sure to get up early, Have a cup of coffee, and head out on a game drive to see some of the early birds and animals that can be found along the Kasenyi route, including elephants, antelopes, solitary buffalo, lions, and warthogs. After the two to three-hour journey, proceed to the lodge and have breakfast and lunch. Afterwards, embark on the launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. One of the most beautiful things to do in the park is take a boat trip, where you can see wildlife like birds, crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks, and elephants along the banks of the river. Go back to the inn, freshen up, have dinner, and stay the night

Following breakfast, start traveling to Bwindi through the Ishasha area while keeping an eye out for climbing lions and other wildlife. You will get to take in some lovely scenery along the route. Lunch on the way; afternoon arrival at the park or lodge. Enjoy your meal and stay the night.

Wake up early to eat breakfast, then travel to the Park headquarters with your tour guide while remembering to bring a packed lunch. You will be given instructions on what to do and not do while trekking after arriving there by 7:30am, after which the ranger guides will lead you through the misty forest.

Due to where gorillas are, trekking typically lasts 8 hours or more, sometimes even a whole day. The only time you are allowed to see them is for one hour, but it will be a terrific and enjoyable experience when you do. Together with water, hats, sunglasses, raincoats, and non-flash cameras, make sure to pack enough of all of these items. After the hike, return to the lodge and eat lunch while getting ready for an evening community visit with the Batwa people.
