6-Days Zambia and Botswana Safari

You will be picked up by a Dav Safaris representative from Livingstone Town or the Livingstone International Airport in the morning. You will be taken to Mukwalantila village for some cultural experience. This journey aims to present the way of life of the Tonga people in the Southern Province, who, depending on the season, can be seen cultivating their gardens, harvesting their crops, or plowing their fields.

You will be picked up after breakfast at around 7 am for a micro light flight over the Victoria Falls (20-minute drive one-way) so you can see the falls from above. You will have a tour of Victoria Falls on the Zambian side after the spectacular flight, which takes off at 9 a.m. You will receive all the required information from the tour guide about the Victoria Falls, the Zambezi River, the local flora, and fauna. You will leave for a wildlife drive and a rhino walk in Livingstone’s Mosi Oa Tunya National Park in the late afternoon after lunch. Numerous wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, hippos, antelopes, Cape buffalos, and others, call it home. After that, we’ll go on a rhino walk, allowing us to get closer to the white rhinos that live in the park.

After breakfast, you will go for water rafting, Challenge your bravery by navigating the stunning Zambezi River rapids. You will experience rapids ranging in difficulty from grade V to rapid 22. We will have some time to unwind after a challenging day of crossing the Zambezi rapids on an Upper Zambezi sunset cruise with refreshments. As the sun sets, take pleasure in the stunning scene that nature will provide.

After breakfast, you’ll visit Devil’s Pool to swim. It would only be appropriate to swim in Devil’s Pool to become a part of the Victoria Falls after viewing it from above and up close. The pool is constructed on a natural right on the edge of the falls, allowing you to live life on the edge. Following your swim, you will be taken to Botswana to spend two nights in Chobe National Park. Chobe National Park has one of the highest densities of wildlife on the continent and is one of the best safari locations in Africa. It is well-known for its elephants, different habitats, wide variety of animals and birds, and stunning river that provides fantastic game viewing.

You will go on a full-day game drive in Chobe National Park, Botswana’s first national park. With one of the highest densities of animals on the continent and a sizeable territory of about 12,000 square kilometers, the park is one of the top safari destinations in Africa. Chobe National Park is well-known for its elephants, a variety of ecosystems, a wide variety of animals, birds, and a stunning river that makes for fantastic game viewing. You will come back for dinner and to spend the night.

After breakfast, you can unwind at your resort before being driven to Kasane International Airport for your scheduled journey back home.
