Kafue National Park is situated in the middle of Zambia’s western side. The park is the largest national park in Zambia, with a total area of 22,400 square kilometers (8,600 square miles). It’s a GANP Ambassador Park and the second-largest national park on the African continent. During the wet season, the grassy savannas serve as a major floodplain.
