When you arrive at OR Tambo International Airport, a safe private transfer will take you to your hotel in Sandton. You might want to take a break after the exhausting travel after checking in and settling into your hotel. Then, go visit some of the interesting stores in Nelson Mandela Square’s chic mall, and then have a great yet low-key supper close to the mall. Visit the hotel spa to unwind.

Following breakfast in your accommodation, you will be collected up for a day tour of Johannesburg. On this tour, we will drive through Soweto and the surrounding area, passing a hostel, the Chris Hani Baragwaneth Hospital, the Orlando Power Station, Winnie and Nelson Mandela’s former home, Desmond Tutu’s home, and the Hector Peterson Memorial. We’re going to eat at a well-known restaurant and shebeen. Following that, we will proceed to the Apartheid Museum, where you will be able to tour the huge exhibition hall on your own. We will travel to downtown Johannesburg to explore additional locations, including Maboneng Precinct, the municipal hall, and Constitutional Hill. After being dropped off at the hotel, you’ll be driven to a romantic restaurant in Johannesburg for supper before returning to your hotel room.

Your guide will take you up from your hotel in the early morning following breakfast, and wewill then begin the trip to Kruger National Park via the Northern Drakensberg Mountains. After a few hours, we will arrive at one of the Panorama Route’s first scenic overlooks, where we will disembark and go on a short stroll to take pictures and soak in the ambiance. God’s Window, The Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and Lisbon Falls are a few of the attractions. We will stop for a private sundowner experience at one of the most picturesque views in the late afternoon before moving on to your first safari lodge, where you’ll spend the night following a delicious meal made by your host.

This morning, we pick you up at your lodge and drive you to the closest Kruger National Park entrance. You’ll stay another night at the lodge and enjoy a delectable 3-course dinner that a devoted chef has created.

Following a leisurely breakfast, you can spend some time by the pool or go on a self-guided tour of the nature reserve to see zebras, giraffes, and impalas. We will pick you up again later that day, after you’ve checked out, and we will transport you to the adjacent Big 5 – Tshukudu Private Game Reserve. After checking in, you will participate in the lodge’s inaugural shared afternoon safari before having a wonderful supper there.

You will take part in two game drives today in the Tshukudu Private Game Reserve, led by knowledgeable Tshukudu Rangers who will astound you with exceptional animal sightings in this exceptional natural setting. All five of the Big 5 may be found at Tshukudu, and the Game Lodge provides the ideal luxury safari experience for a honeymooning couple.
