7 Day South Luangwa & Victoria Falls Zambia Safari

This seven-day safari brings you to two of Zambia’s safari locations where you can take in the abundance of wildlife, as well as a renowned Night Game drive and the Luangwa Walking Safari. It will take you to South Luangwa & Victoria Falls. South Luangwa is located in a broad rift valley; the park is bordered to the west by the Muchinga escarpment and to the east by the meandering Luangwa River. The park delivers its name from famous River called Luangwa. The Luangwa River is the largest and most intact main river system in Africa, is the lifeblood of this 9 050 km2 (5 623 mi2) park. It safeguards a vast range of wildlife, birds, and flora. A walking safari in South Luangwa is one of the best ways to get up close and personal with Africa’s unspoiled environment.

The Victoria Falls are situated on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe; the falls is home to the greatest water curtain in the world, which is more than a mile wide and nearly 350 feet tall. The falls are located on a branch of the Zambezi River, where water cascades over a cliff and forms several water columns, creating breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mist. The Victoria Falls are referred to locally by the Kololo people who have resided there since the 1800s as “Mosi-oa-Tunya,” which translates to “The Smoke that Thunders.”

Itinary in details

On this day you will fly to Lusaka International Airport in Zambia. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative who will give a briefing about your Safari and after that, you will receive help with your bags and check in for your subsequent local flight, which departs at 4:30 pm and fly to Mfuwe Airport in South Luangwa. After an hour’s flight, you’ll met your driver guide, who will transport you to your Lodge, for a 45-minute adventurous transfer to the lodge, where you can check in and unwind.

You will have two full days to experience game viewing activities in South Luangwa National Park. After a sumptuous breakfast, you’ll embark on a morning game drive or walking safari and then make your way back to the lodge in time for brunch and some leisure time. After lunch, depart for your afternoon game drive safari, where you will see wildlife such as lions, leopards, and buffaloes, among others. Later in the later evening return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

On this day, you will have a morning breakfast, check out, and be transferred to the Mfuwe airport for your local flight through Lusaka from Mfuwe to Livingstone by your guide. Upon your arrival at Livingstone International Airport, Our driver will meet you and drive you for around 20 minutes to your lodge. You will be given lunch after your check in, and the rest of the day is yours to relax. Dinner will be served later in the evening, followed by overnight stay.

Following breakfast, you’ll be picked up and taken on a guided tour of the falls, where you can discover more about this breathtaking natural wonder of the globe before heading back to the resort for lunch and some downtime. You will be picked up in the late afternoon to go on a sunset boat cruise where you can have free sundowner drinks and nibbles while seeing amazing wildlife, including the African sun caressing the river, as well as animals including elephants, crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of birds. You will then be driven to the lodge, where food and supper will be given before bed.

After breakfast this morning, you’ll be picked up for a 15-minute helicopter ride over Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River. It’s a fantastic chance to observe and enjoy the magnificent Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River from above. After that, you’ll go on a tour of Mukuni Village to discover the customs and culture.
