7-Day Zambia Safari – Livingstone & Kafue National Park

A driver with your name on a sign will be waiting for you at the terminal when you arrive at Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport (LVI). They’ll take you to your hotel so you can check in and leave your luggage there. If you get there early enough, you can plan a Zambezi River sunset cruise or an afternoon safari drive in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up for a 2 hour guided tour of the falls, during which you’ll discover more about this breathtaking natural wonder of the world. Then, you’ll head back to the lodge for lunch and some downtime. You’ll be picked up in the late afternoon for a boat ride at dusk where you can enjoy free sundowner drinks and snacks while spotting amazing wildlife like elephants, crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of birds, not to mention the African sun kissing the river. You will then be driven to the lodge, where dinner and supper will be served before bed.

After breakfast this morning, you’ll be picked up for a 15-minute helicopter ride over Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River. It’s a fantastic chance to observe and experience the magnificent Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River from above. After that, you’ll go on a tour of Mukuni Village to discover the customs and culture.

A driver will pick you up at your lodging in Livingstone this morning and drive you the three hours to Kafue National Park. You will board a 4×4 safari vehicle once you enter the park and travel the final 120 kilometers (75 miles) to Nanzhila Plains Safari Camp. You’ll have the rest of the evening free to do as you please after you arrive and check in at the park.

Two days are yours to do as you please at your safari camp. You can create a daily schedule of activities with the help of our guides. Among the available activities are: Visit the park on a safari drive to see lions, rhinos, giraffes, and other large animals. With or without a safari guide, hike the many trails throughout the park. Take a birding trip and rent some binoculars. Additionally, there is a fireplace, a deck where you can observe wildlife and a bar in the main camp lodge where you can unwind.

It’s time to bid Zambia farewell! A driver will pick you up from the safari camp after breakfast today and take you back to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport so you can catch your flight home.
