7 Days Serengeti & Tarangire Wildlife Adventure

Today, your guide will pick you up from your Arusha hotel and welcome you to your seven-day trip in the Serengeti and Tarangire. Prior to beginning your safari, you will have a brief orientation. Then, you will travel to Lake Manyara National Park with a brief stop in Mto wa mbu village to buy for crafts and get a taste of life in the area. You’ll head over to your hotel to check in and eat lunch. You will go on a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park in the afternoon after lunch. This park is home to the unique tree climbing lions as well as other wildlife species like elephants, buffalos, leopards, buffalos, elands, antelopes, gazelles, and zebras as well as many bird species. After the wildlife drive, you will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast will be served at your lodging as you get ready to go to Tanzania’s oldest national park, Serengeti, for additional wildlife viewing. You will enjoy looking for animals, such as the “big 5″—elephants, rhinoceroses, lions, leopards, and buffaloes—across the unending savannah grasslands. You will eat lunch at your lodge before going on a game drive in the late afternoon. During your seven-day wildlife safari in the Serengeti and Tarangire national parks, you’ll witness a variety of wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, impalas, gazelles, kudus, dik diks, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, and hartebeests, among other species.

On this day, you will be served breakfast at your lodge as you get ready for a morning and an afternoon wildlife drive in the Serengeti national park. Numerous wildlife species, including wildebeests, lions, leopards, zebras, rhinoceroses, buffaloes, antelopes, gazelles, impalas, dik dik, giraffes, and hippos, can be found in the Serengeti National Park. On your safari through the national park, you’ll also witness many different bird species. After lunch, you’ll go on a game drive in the Serengeti National Park to visit numerous landmarks like kopjes, Seronera Valley, and the Retina Hippo Pool as well as to search for more wildlife species.

After eating breakfast at your lodge, you’ll keep driving from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On your trip to Ngorongoro, where you will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater, you will have a game drive in the national park. You will look for animals such as elephants, rhinoceroses, lions, leopards, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, antelopes, impalas, gazelles, waterbucks, kudu, cheetahs, hyenas, and warthogs in addition to many bird species. Additionally, you will come across sights like Lake Magadi, where you may witness flamingos and other bird species along the lake’s borders. Your tour guide will transport you to your lodge where you will eat and stay the night.

Today will begin with breakfast at your lodge before you are transferred to Tarangire National Park, where you will observe animals like elephants in big herds, take in the sight of baobab trees, and go on game drives in search of various wildlife species. More than 600 different bird species can be seen while on a safari at Tarangire National Park. You will go on a game drive in the afternoon after checking in and eating lunch at your lodge to search for various animal species, such as lions, giraffes, leopards, buffalos, elephants, antelopes, zebras, impalas, gazelles, and klipspringers, among others. During your afternoon wildlife drive, you will also appreciate witnessing the Tarangire River, which flows through the national park. You will be driven to your lodge after your wildlife viewing trip, where you will spend the night and have dinner.

You will experience morning and afternoon game drives in Tarangire National Park, where you will spend the entire day exploring the wilderness in search of various wildlife species. After an early breakfast at your lodge, you’ll go on a morning wildlife drive. The many wildlife species in the national park, which include lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, and antelopes among others, are quite active and may be seen as they graze and roam throughout the park in the morning. After eating lunch, you’ll have another game drive through Tarangire National Park.

On the final day of your seven-day wildlife safari in the Serengeti and Tarangire, you will eat breakfast at your lodge before being taken back to Arusha. Your safari in Tanzania will come to an end when your guide drops you off at your accommodation in Arusha or at the airport.
