7 Days Tanzania wildlife and Zanzibar Safari

Description

This 7 Days is the ideal way to experience Zanzibar and Tanzania’s wildlife and tranquility. Tanzania wildlife tours take you to Tanzania’s best national parks for a wildlife experience, including Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Serengeti National Park, which is Tanzania’s best wildlife national park and has been named Africa’s best national park.

Serengeti national park is situated in Serengeti District, one of the seven districts that make up Tanzania’s Northern Arusha Region, which is part of the Mara region. The district is run by administrative cells, and Mugumu Town, which is located in the western section of the park and is home to the Western Gate, serves as the administrative center for the district. The park, located in northern Tanzania, spans an area of about 14,763 square kilometers and contains plains, kopjes, rivers, forests, and woodlands. One of nature’s most impressive displays, the Great Migration of the Wildebeest, takes place in the Serengeti.

The Ngorongoro conservation area is a game reserve in northern Tanzania with a high concentration of wildlife game inside the rim of an extinct volcano covering an area of approximately 8,292 square kilometers of forests, savannah plains, wetlands, and lake habitats on the eastern side of the Serengeti. The Ngorongoro Crater, with an area of about 260 square kilometers, is the world’s largest volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden.” The highest concentration of elephants in Tanzania can be found in the remote and untamed Tarangire National Park, which is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Tanzania’s well-known northern game-viewing circuit includes Tarangire national park, which is located south-east of Lake Manyara.

Lake Manyara is a freshwater lake located in the lush and diverse Lake Manyara national park, which offers excellent game viewing, breathtaking scenery, and excellent bird watching. This small game park is renowned for its thousands of flamingos, healthy elephant population, and tree-climbing lions. A variety of wildlife species, including hippo, baboon, buffalo, cheetah, masai giraffe, and impala, call the 325 square kilometer Lake Manyara home.

Itinary in details

When you arrive in Arusha, you will be met by our company representative/safari guide, who will give you a brief introduction to the 5 days Serengeti safaris program. Begin our journey to Lake Manyara, which is located on the shores of East Africa’s Great Rift Valley and is approximately 2 hours’ drive from Arusha. Connect for a game drive; the drive is slow even on good roads due to traffic regulations; your journey will always be slow. Around mid-morning or early-afternoon after reaching Lake Manyara, you depart for your reserved lodge for lunch and refreshments. Depending on the weather, go on an evening game drive after lunch. These drives are always excellent and rewarding because you can see more animals looking for food and larger ones relaxing after a busy day. Elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, baboons, and other animals have the most observed habitats. After dinner, go back to your lodge to spend the night.

Get up early, eat breakfast, and then go on a morning game drive to explore more of the park. After that, travel with your packed lunch to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is a 4 – 5-hour drive away.

Get up early for breakfast, pack your lunch, and head out into the wilderness. Enjoy a full-day game drive in search of the Serengeti’s diverse wildlife. There are few or no chances of seeing the great wildebeest migration in September because the majority of them have already crossed the Mara River and are dispersed throughout the Masai Mara’s northern region, though some are said to remain in the northern Serengeti. Over 30 different animal species and 400 different bird species can be found in the park thanks to nature. Return to the lodge above for dinner and overnight accommodation after the game drive.

After eating breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro conservation area early in the morning, clear the travel documents, and then head to the crater for a wildlife experience to see the animals scattered throughout the world’s largest crater. Bring a packed lunch and plan to spend the entire day in the crater with a picnic lunch. Arrive at your lodge in the late evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After eating breakfast, check out of your Arusha hotel. You’ll be driven to the airport there to catch a flight to Zanzibar. Your hotel driver or safari driver will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel so you can check in. After lunch, you’ll spend the afternoon taking a tour of Stone Town to learn about the history and culture of Zanzibar. During your tour of Stone Town, you will also visit Darajani Market. Afterward, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast will be served at your hotel as you get ready for the day’s activities, which include a boat ride on a traditional dhow during which you’ll keep an eye out for dolphins in the water. Additionally, you will delight in swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing on one of the islands while admiring the coral reef and marine life. Additionally, you’ll eat lunch, unwind, and sunbathe. You will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight following this experience.

You will have breakfast at your hotel before checking out and being dropped off at the Zanzibar airstrip for your onward flight back to your home country via Arusha, bringing the safari to an End.
