When you arrive in Antananarivo, you will be greeted by an English-speaking guide, before being transferred to your accommodation in the heart of the city. Unpack, settle in, and spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Before supper, take a swim in the pool and take in the captivating view of the city.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be taken to Tana airport for your trip to Fort Dauphin on Madagascar’s south-eastern coast. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your guide and driven west towards Antandroy Spiny Forest (charter aircraft from Fort Dauphin is possible at an extra fee). The three-hour trip offers a variety of scenery, from the eastern seaboard’s rice farms and lush tropical plains to the desert region’s sisal plantations and “spiny forest.” In the late afternoon, you will reach your opulent tented camp, giving you time to settle in and take in the breathtaking views of the Mandrare River.

Located on the northwest coast of Madagascar’s unique island, The Anjajavy region is home to a biodiverse reserve, opulent seaside resorts, a small fishing community, and breathtakingly beautiful surroundings. Anjajavy is home to gorgeous beaches with sandy coves bordered by turquoise waters that are crystal clear, a wide variety of fauna, and tropical settings with rosewood and baobab trees. This distant paradise offers guests a variety of activities such as resting on deserted beaches, partaking in a soothing spa day, catching a sight of the Madagascan lemur, or tasting ocean-fresh seafood.
