9 Days Authentic North of Madagascar

Greetings from Madagascar! Your English-speaking tour guide will greet you following the completion of all immigration procedures and currency exchange. After that, you’ll be driven to your accommodation, which is close to the airport. You can enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport in Antananarivo for your flight to the northern region of Madagascar. You will be greeted by the lovely grins of the Antakarana tribe here. You’ll take a city tour after you land. After the visit, you will have the remainder of the day to yourselves.

The road will take you to the red Tsingy, which means “pointed rock,” in the morning via opulent scenery and over sand paths. You will arrive on this planet-like environment. The countless chimneys and ephemeral structures created by the wind and rain offer a spectrum of hues from yellow to crimson ocher. Your next stop of the day will be Ankara, which you will reach later.

After breakfast, you’ll go out on a fresh adventure to see the world-famous Ankarana National Park. There is a large forest of trees here; many of which blossoms from September to November, and many have deciduous leaves. Baobab trees can also be seen on the Lost Rivers and Tsingy trails. You’ll visit the Bat Cave during the hike you take today. Although it is a short trail, there are several severe slopes. Along with bats, you’ll also come across lemurs and black parrots.

You’ll travel to Ankify today. The itinerary will include a visit to the Millot plantation, where you can learn the techniques for the best cocoa preparations and see the development of the most exquisite scents (ylang, vetiver, patchouli, and Palma rosa). You will eventually arrive in Ankify.

Today you’ll check out of your accommodation and head to the dock. You will then take a speedboat to Nosy Komba. Nosy Komba is the second largest island after Nosy Be. When you get there, you’ll go to the classic pirogues and market for wood and needlework crafts in the community of artisanal fishermen. Then you’ll go to the miniature park to see land tortoises, chameleons, and boa constrictors. The Macaco lemur can be seen here most effectively. It will effortlessly settle on your shoulder and consent to being stroked. Later, you’ll travel to Nosy Tanikely’s protected natural underwater reserve. This stunning underwater stroll offers a breathtaking display of corals, anemones, groupers, moray eels, sea turtles, and an abundance of rainbow fish. The dogfish and lemurs can then be seen in the trees as you make your way to the lighthouse. After enjoying a picnic lunch here, you’ll head back to the hotel in the late afternoon.

It is entirely up to you what you want to do with the remainder of your stay. You might love diving or taking bike rides along the natural coastlines. Nosy Be has a wide choice of activities for you to enjoy. Allow your imagination to go wild and embark on an adventure.
