Itinary in details

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls, your safari driver will pick you up and drive you the short distance into town to your lovely Lodge. This afternoon, if you have time, you might like to visit the falls or simply stroll around the neighborhood to find a place to eat some snacks or beer.

Explore the area today as well as the magnificent falls. These breathtaking falls will undoubtedly be checked off the bucket list. Victoria Falls were created when the Zambezi River plunged 100 meters into a small gorge. During the rainy season, the falls produce more than 5 million cubic meters of water per minute. As you approach this enormous waterfall from the road, you can hear its roar and see its spray rising up to the sky. You will return to your lodging in the evening to spend your last night at Victoria Falls.

Enjoy this morning at your leisure, and if you’d like, go back to the waterfalls. Or you could just unwind and stroll around the peaceful grounds, which are home to calm local wildlife. Later during mid-day it’s time to enter Botswana, which will involve taking a road transfer in the direction of Kasane. Game drives and boat cruises into Chobe National Park, which are included on your itinerary, are just two of the fantastic activities available. On your first afternoon, you will take a boat ride.

Today you’ll go on a game drive and a boat cruise in Chobe National Park. Chobe National Park is situated along the Chobe River, which divides Botswana and Namibia, in the northern region of the country. The park, which is the second-largest in Botswana, is renowned for offering exceptional year-round game viewing. Chobe is most famous for its massive elephant herds. The Chobe River provides water for the largest concentration of elephants in Southern Africa, and herds of more than 100 animals are not unusual to see, especially during the dry season. Once you’ve finished your afternoon safari activity, you’ll head back to your lodge to freshen up and unwind before dinner.

This morning, you will be transferred to Kasane Airport to meet your light aircraft flight to. Although necessary, this trip is also very scenic, so make sure your cameras are charged. As soon as you arrive at the airstrip, staff from your lodge will greet you and take you by boat to the camp. Flying over the Delta, you can observe the intricately twisted and turned waterways and the constantly shifting colors where the Delta meets the dry land.

Given that Moremi Crossing is a camp on the water, Visitors can get to the area from the airstrip by mokoro or boat, and there are many different kinds of animals and birds that can be seen there. The Moremi Crossing offers a variety of activities, including mokoro trips, game and bird walks, motorboat sunset cruises, and island camping (island camping requires advance reservations). All of these excursions offer visitors a chance to view the Okavango Delta and its wildlife from a very distinct, slower-paced, and up-close perspective. Water levels affect aquatic activities. When the water table is low, a private concession will offers morning and afternoon game drives along with sundowner drinks.

You will be transferred by back to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Mma Dinare Camp in the Okavango Delta in the east. Nine attractive tented canvas suites (one of which is a family suite) feature roomy interiors, a private lounge, an en-suite bathroom, and a private deck with views of the surrounding scenery. Guests can unwind in comfort while observing the birds and other wildlife in the surrounding natural environment in the open, thatched spaces that in the relaxed central areas.

You’ll have a full day on safari to take advantage of the things to do near Mma Dinare. You can participate in both daytime and nighttime game drives. There can only be a maximum of six passengers on these on- and off-road safaris, plus the guide and a tracker (at night). In accordance with local conditions, Mma Dinare also provides game walks and seasonally available water activities on the Gomoti River. Just 40 visitors are allowed in two tiny camps within this sizable private concession, so it truly adheres to the low-density, high-quality tourism model used in Botswana.

You will be taken to the airstrip in time for your flight back to Maun, where you can connect with your international flights, after taking part in a morning activity in Mma Dinare.
