1-Day Chobe River and Wilderness Adventure

Description

With a native guide, spend the day discovering Chobe National Park’s breathtaking natural splendor. Experience vast savannas and get up close and personal with the amazing wildlife that makes this park its home. It is one of the best places in the world for seeing these gorgeous gentle giants because 80,000 elephants roam the plains here. On the lake front drive, you can also view lions, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, and other plains animals. Refreshments and a lunch buffet will be offered.

You will be picked up at 7:30 a.m. from your accommodation in Victoria Falls for the hour-long drive through the Zambezi National Park to Chobe National Park in Botswana. The tour begins with a river cruise into the park, where visitors have the chance to witness several crocodiles, hippos, and water birds. Numerous huge herbivores are known to inhabit Chobe, and most of them are seen here when they descend to the river in search of water. Lunch is served in one of the well-known lodges at 12:30.

We will leave for a game drive after lunch, using specially modified open 4 x 4 vehicles to get up close to wildlife. Eland, Sable, and Roan antelope, as well as lion sightings, are frequent in Chobe. Although elusive, leopards are frequent in the region. Drives are made near the water to increase the likelihood of seeing wildlife. We will return to the border at 16:30 for the return transfer to Victoria Falls after the three-hour safari drive, and we anticipate arriving there around 1800.
