Itinary in details

Arrive at the Victoria Falls Airport, where your safari guide will be waiting to pick you up and take you to your safari lodge. Usually taking roughly two hours, the travel gives you time to explore some of Zimbabwe’s towns and scenery. You will be welcomed with a welcome drink upon arrival, and after settling into your tent, you may enjoy a late lunch or some snacks in the dining area. After that, you will be taken to the stables for a safety briefing and an introduction to the staff and horses. You can choose to embark on a wildlife drive or a guided walking safari depending on when you arrive. Dinner will then be served at the main lodge after sundowner beverages and snacks.

On this day, you’ll get up early to enjoy tea and coffee by the campfire. Before going down to the stables for your first ride with your trainer, you will be given a continental-style breakfast. This is going to be a fantastic morning of hunting, tracking, and, if the weather permits, a little horse swim in a nearby waterhole. While on your ride, you’ll eat a small lunch; your goal is to get back to the stables by midday. After returning to the stables, you will have a siesta hour during which you can rest up or just take in everything the jungle has to offer from the comfort of the lodge. After that, you will leave for your sundowner wildlife drive, where refreshments will be provided, and return to the camp for supper.

Before embarking on an exhilarating ride into the African Bush, where you might have the opportunity to observe various sorts of animals and get to stop at a local waterhole for a coffee break, a light continental breakfast will be served in Camp. Then get back on for the remainder of the ride after stretching your legs. You will have some time to pack and freshen up after you get back to camp before being transferred out of camp. It’s time to say farewell to Hwange Horseback Safaris and move on to your next adventure after making enduring memories and new friends.
