Itinary in details

As soon as you land at Victoria Falls Airport, You will be met by your guide-driver and transferred to Hwange National Park—a two-hour trip on tarmac roads. After check-in, we’ll go on a late-afternoon game drive at the Hwange Safari Lodge. It is an estate that does not have any fences separating it from the main Hwange National Park. The trip takes three hours and goes deep into the night. There is a significant probability of seeing large cats on this trip.

Following breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the Main Camp gate for the full-day safari in the Hwange National Park. There will be plenty of beverages, including mineral water, soft drinks, and picnic lunches. You can eat lunch on any of the numerous viewing areas that are scattered throughout the park. Around 4:00 pm, we’ll be back at the lodge. The elephant population in Hwange is one of the greatest in the world, and the park is famous for its elephants. More than 65 000 elephants reside in the park, and during the dry season, they control all water sources in the afternoons. There are numerous more animals that can be seen in the park, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, buffaloes, impalas, kudus, sable, elands, waterbucks, zebras, giraffes, baboons, warthogs, and many others.

Hwange offers a safari experience that is comparable to those of East Africa’s famous parks, the Serengeti and Masai Mara, but without the crowds. You’ll spend another enjoyable day in the park searching for your preferred animal or bird while neglecting other now-common species. On a good day, you might even head back to the lodge earlier because you’ll have seen everything there is to see.

After breakfast, you will be driven two hours to Victoria Falls in air-conditioned vans. We’ll proceed to the Victoria Falls via the large baobab tree for the guided tour after checking in. Nothing can prepare you for the heart-stopping sensation that awaits you during this 2 kilometer part of the walk, which takes roughly two hours. It’s impossible to deny that this is nature’s masterpiece from the way it looks, sounds, smells, and makes you feel. We’ll stop by open curio marketplaces for souvenir purchasing. You will be driven to the jetty at 4:00 pm for the tranquil Zambezi River sunset cruise. As you unwind with a sundowner and some munchies, enjoy the view of the river’s banks. Have your camera at the ready to capture one of Africa’s breathtaking sunsets. This two-hour boat tour includes all refreshments, light fare, and return transportation. Return to the hotel at 7:00 p.m.

You will be picked up at 7:30 am from your hotel for the full-day safari in Botswana’s Chobe National Park. Since you will be traveling for 70 km through the Zambezi National Park to reach the Botswana border, you won’t have to wait until you cross the border to begin taking in the game viewing. The safari begins with a 3-hour boat journey on the Chobe River, which is a highlight of the trip because many animals can be seen as they descend to the river for a morning drink. Buffet lunch will be at your Safari Lodge.

After lunch, it’s time for the 3-hour afternoon game drive, which will take place in specially built 4×4 safari vehicles. You will go to the portion of the upper Chobe that is off-limits to boats. Here, you can occasionally observe predators on their kills, such as shy ones like lions, hyenas, and leopards. You’ll depart the park at around 4:30 p.m. to make the drive back to Victoria Falls, and you should arrive at the hotel around 6:00 p.m.

This is your final day in Victoria Falls, and your airport transfers will be determined on your international flight time back home.
