8 Days Tanzania wildlife and Zanzibar safari

On the first day of your safari, your guide will pick you up from your hotel or airport in Arusha and welcome you to the trip. A stop in Mto wa Mbu town will be made before you continue to Lake Manyara National Park, where you can take in the local arts and crafts. After settling in at your hotel, you’ll eat lunch. After lunch, you’ll go on a game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park to search for various wildlife species, including giraffes, elephants, hippos, leopards, tree climbing lions, buffalo, and elephants. Among the bird species that can be seen while on a safari in the national park are flamingos. After dinner, you’ll head back to your Lodge where you’ll spend the night.

Once you’ve finished your breakfast at your lodge, you’ll check out and begin the drive to Serengeti National Park. The big 5—elephants, lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, and buffaloes—as well as other wildlife species call the national park home. After checking into your lodge you will have lunch. Additionally, you will go on a game drive and explore the Serengeti National Park’s central region in search of various wildlife species, including wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, hippos, buffalos, kudu, and waterbucks. After the game drive, you will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today will begin with breakfast at your lodge as you get ready for a full day of game viewing in Serengeti National Park. You’ll begin your day with a morning game drive in the national park, during which you’ll look for wildlife including wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, hippos, giraffes, gazelles, impalas, kudus, and buffalos among other species as you travel through the open savannah plains. Your lunch will come after your morning game drive. Your guide will take you on a tour of the Seronera area after lunch while you enjoy keeping an eye out for other wildlife species. After your game drives and dinner, you will return to your lodge for the night.

Before departing from your lodge to catch a transfer to the Ngorongoro conservation area, you will have breakfast. You will go on a game drive through the Ngorongoro crater while you are there, keeping an eye out for animals like elephants, lions, buffalos, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, impalas, and hippos, among others. Additionally, you will go to the Ngorongoro crater’s Lake Magadi, where you can see flamingo flocks along the lake’s shores. Your guide will transport you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight after this experience.

Following breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Arusha, where you will check into your hotel and eat lunch. Later, you’ll take a tour of Arusha, and then you’ll come back for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, your guide will take you to the airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar. You will be met when you arrive at Zanzibar’s airport and driven to your hotel, where you can check in and eat lunch. While moving through Stone Town’s congested alleyways, you will also take part in a tour to learn more about Zanzibar’s history and its various cultures. After this experience, you’ll head back to your lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

You will have breakfast at your lodge early in the morning before heading out to explore the beautiful Zanzibar Island. During your safari, you will take a traditional dhow ride, visit Menai Bay, and participate in activities like swimming and snorkeling. Following the tour, you’ll return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast and take you to the airport where your safari will come to an end.
