You’ll arrive at ORT Johannesburg International Airport today, to take a connecting flight to Eastgate Airport in the Kruger. When you arrive at Eastgate Airport, a from our company representative will be there to greet you and bring you the 30 minutes to Southern Camp in the Kapama Private Game Reserve in time for your afternoon game drive. With each Luxury Suite representing the pinnacle of elegant safari accommodations and wraparound views of the African bush enhancing the sense of tranquility at this exclusive safari lodge, located on the banks of the perennial Klaserie River, exudes calmness. Enjoy guided safari walks through the bushveld with your armed ranger and tracker, spa treatments, poolside relaxation, and early morning and late afternoon game drives with highly trained and experienced rangers and trackers.

On this day, you will depart and return by vehicle to ORT Johannesburg before continuing on to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. You will be greeted at the Victoria Falls Airport upon arrival and driven to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, where you will stay for three nights. The lodge’s multiple levels of thatch and timber construction give the idea that it is a huge open-plan tree home. Each accommodation has an own balcony, many of which have views of the hotel’s main watering hole and provide the best opportunities for seeing buffalo, elephant, and kudu herds as dusk falls. Later in the evening, hyenas frequently congregate! A micro light flight over the area, a sunset cruise down the Zambezi River, or, for the extremely daring, a bungee leap off the Victoria Falls Bridge are all optional activities.

You will travel for two hours by road to Kasane Airport in Botswana at a future date to be determined. Your charter flight will pick you up and take you to Abu Camp, where you will stay for three nights in the Okavango Delta. Arrive in time for a special “boma dinner” beneath the stars of Africa. You are allowed to walk alongside the elephants of the Abu herd and enjoy the pristine habitat through their eyes at Abu Camp, which offers an Okavango Delta experience with a twist. This safari will change the way you think about elephants, big game, the outdoors, and life in general. Enjoy a wildlife drive or early-morning’mokoro’ boat canoe journey through the Okavango Delta’s riverways, where every bend in the river system will present a fresh surprise. The “Big Five” are everywhere, showing off the best of Africa! With knowledgeable rangers and trackers—leopards being the most tricky to track—birding and nature hikes are all options on the menu.

After one more early-morning game drive and breakfast at the camp, get ready for your flight to ORT Johannesburg and the subsequent trip back home.
